with a little help from my friends

A while ago, I tried my hand at carving a Hobo Nickle. This one was an original 1935"Buffalo" nickel in mint condition. I changed the Indian head to a little guy called "Dave". (It's not illegal)
I decided to incorporate the nickel into a sterling silver arrowhead and make it into a bolo neck tie for a good friend. After exploring the possibilities,it was apparent that I didn't have all of the skills needed to make this a reality. I called a few friends for their help and they were more than willing to pitch in.
The project is now completed and I can't let it go out the door without a huge "THANK YOU" to:
Diane Scalese for the bolo tie findings and technical advice
Amy Armstrong for the coin mount and technical advice
Chris DeCamillis for silversmithing and soldering skills.
This nice work of art is now the property of my good friend Ron Smith of Ft. Worth, Texas,
